i've got an 04 grand prix gtp with the 17in rims on it and now need winter tires. i'm looking to get a set of 16's (it's cheaper) but don't know what size rim or tire went on these cars from the factory. any help? thanks in advance!!

get a 16x7 rim with an offset of around +45mm and put 225/60/16 tires on them.

so pretty much any gm rim (like malibu, impala, etc...)? i'm craigslist surfin!
