different, but not bad. What made you choose that wheel? Not bashing just curious. Whenever someone gets a wheel that is not traditional or different than the norm I'm always curious why.

I wanted to but it just wasn't financially feasible. Chicago has some of the worse street in America and the size and depth of the potholes here are ridiculous. I wanted to be able to at least have a fighting chance if I hit one. I've cracked rims here twice before (20's) and the city will not reimburse for rim or tire.

Plus I drive 30 Miles one way to work everyday and the tread on the 20's just doesn't last. If I had a 2nd car for my daily commute then it would be a different story.

It was something different and I am one who doesn't like to be like everyone else. And I have the 5 Double Spoke Factory 17's and I like that look so I was looking for something similar with a nice lip.

Plus I got a great deal. Rims, center caps, full set of special lug nuts, and tiresd with 9/32 left on 'em for $400. I couldn't pass it up.

I wanted 19's but they weren't easy to find and the replacement costs for tires is brutal.

at least with the 18's i can get them replaced with having to sell a major organ.
