Will the mid and late 90s stang wheels fit 97-03 gp's or the lug patterns different.

93 and down on any mustang is going to be a 4 lug. Enless they did a 5 lug conversion. Then they would have to buy new 5-lug conversion axles for the back and 94-95 spindles on the front.

The backspacing for wheels on all the mustangs (stock) from 94-04 (17X9) is 5.95-6.11 inches. They changed the backspacing in 05+. The backspacing is more during those years.93 on down factory wheels had a 5.5'' back spacing.

The bolt pattern for 94 and up wich was the 5 lug is 5 x 4 1/2 .... or 5X114.3

It is a different bolt pattern for 94 and up but they will fit.

05+ mustang wheels will fit "better" because of the higher offset, but the earlier years allow you to run bigger tires and have the wheels sit more flush with the fenders.

since they are slightly different but still fit, would the stang rims cause my car to ride ruff, or different I heard that slightly different lug patterns will cause a vibration.
