I'm looking at 2 different sets of Mustang wheels.

First set are these: Black Deep Dish 2003 Cobra Style Wheel 94-04 (17x9) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

    Style: 2003 Cobra Finish: Black
Size: 17x9 Centercap Size: Large (2-1/2")
    Back Spacing: 6.0" (152mm) Offset: +25mm (1.0")
    Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm) Fitment: 94-04 V6, GT, Bullitt,
    Mach 1, and Cobra

Second Set are these: Black Bullitt Wheel 94-04 (17X9) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

    Style: Bullitt Finish: Black
Size: 17x9 Centercap Size: Large (2-1/2")
    Back Spacing: 5.94" (151mm) Offset: +24mm (0.94")
    Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm) Fitment: 94-04 V6, GT, Bullitt,
    Mach 1, and Cobra

Third Set are these: Black Mustang Bullitt Wheel - 2005+ (17x9) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

    Style: Bullitt Finish: Black
Size: 17x9 Centercap Size: Large (2-1/2")
    Back Spacing: 6.8" (172mm) Offset: +45mm (1.8")
    Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm) Fitment: 2005+ V6, GT,
    Excludes Shelby GT500

I'm assuming all of these would fit. But would the 05+ fit better?

also, can I run a 255/45/17 with these or should I run 255/40/17?

    thanks!

all will fit. the 17x9 bullits in the 05+ offset will fit better. the other two sets have a high possibility of rubbing when youre lowered and dont have your fenders rolled.

i will be running the 17x9 cobras with the +24mm offset, but my fenders are rolled all the way around the car. i am also going to be running a slightly shorter than stock tire.

I want to go with the 17x9 Cobras as well. That is my first choice. My fenders are not rolled, but it's not rocket science to do so. I was looking at running a 255/45/17 (dia = 26.1") or a 275/40/17 (dia = 25.7"), Stock dia = 26.6" . I'm running the GMPP spring/strut combo, so the car is only lowered .8" front and .6" rear.

    Think I will be safe?

i was planning on running 255/45/17 when i got tires for them. i think you should be alright, and if you rub (which is a high possibility) that you can just take a mallet and heat gun to the fenders. i did it and it took me like an hour after i figured out how hard i could hit the fender without screwing it up.
