That is an awfully wide tire for stock wheels...they will "bulge" noticeably over the lip of the wheel, and cornering will be compromised due to the excess sidewall roll.

They won't be on stock wheels. I'm working on that too. Looking to get some eagle 077's.

    Anyone else used this combo?

Very cool...that should look very nice. I ran 245/50R17's on a set of Bullitts, and they looked great. That size tire will cause your speedometer/odometer to be off, so remember that. I will see if I can dig up any pictures, although the wheels were not on the GTP.

I figured that it would through the speedo off. I have been trying to get ahold of a member that im friends with to borrow his Powrtuner to adj for that.

Are the eagles a lil bit wider than stock anyways?

Yes, they are 8" wide, which should be perfect for that size tire.

Cool you had me worried for awhile. I've talked to other members running the same tire width and they have said they noticed not difference between stock size except for they hook better on a straight line.

I have been running that size on stock rims on my 99 GTP. Grip and handling was incredible. The stance looks great. I went with Eagle F1 GSD3s. Worth the $$ if they are in your budget. A lot of Vette guys run them. They are incredible on dry and I think they rated 10 on wet. I have driven in heavy rain and they are really reliable in water. I was amazed and surprised being a wide tire.
The sidewalls are strong. The sales man sat on my old Eagle GAs off the rim and they squished in half. He sat on a GSD3 and they didnt give. Very strong side wall. This was a big guy too. That sold me right there.
I get a slight rub in the rear trailing arm. I am guessing only when I am doing rediculous cornering LOL. BUT it is not major, I dont hear it. I can just see a slight rub where the tire wiped the dust/dirt on it. The clearance is so close my finger doesnt fit between the tire and the arm lol. I have had them on the car for 2 years.
