Who is this guy?

So I'm at that point where I don't know what to do with my car. I was thinking to buy some new lug nuts for my rims because I have to original ones on without the covers so they're gold and have the holes in the middle. Mine are also corroded. I can't really think of anything else to do except for flipping my dog bone bushings. List of whats done right now:
-17" rims
-OnStar antenna removed
-PONTIAC rear bumper inlay
-Polished exhaust tips
That's it for now. Cheap or free mods/repairs are best as money is tight. I plan on repairing my valve cover gasket soon too. Other than that, I won't have anything to do/work on. Ideas?

I think you need to reformat this to be more of a rant since you're in the RANT forum.

Homemade Intake, Alternator rewire, Detail the inside and engine, paint scheme on the motor.
There are tons of cheap things to do with a GP. Use the search bar up top. Look through the Members Ride section for ideas.

You mean just install a heavier gauge power wire on the alternator? Don't do the diode thing or use an alternator booster. Those are a bad idea.

Exactly, Cost about $8 for a 4gauge cable at the parts store. Helps boost the electrical system. Did it to both my 97GT and 98GTP. Cheap easy mod lol.

Agreed 100% Also a good idea to run a new ground to the alternator, and a new ground from the battery to the Chassis. And go around and clean all the grounds in the whole car. I have a list of them all if anyone wants.

get 1/0 or go home stop with the tiny wire ****. I also did voltage booster because I was tired of seeing 13.3 volts.

Well just with the 4gauge. At night with lights on and Stereo with sub and amp. I was getting 14.3-14.7 Volt reading. Maybe I had good grounds lol. Either way. Big wire, big 3 upgrade is something to do.

I learned a lot about these alternators when I went through CS144 debacle. CS130D operate the same way too. The voltage regulators actually have a timer before they bring up the voltage to the rotor. Most of the time it's 10 seconds, some have a 2.5 second delay. All stock regulators that I've seen (cept for some cadillacs) are set at 14.7v.

And need to eventually go throw on this CS144 I have. The list just never gets shorter.

Never heard of putting a new alternator cable on. With my alternator, If I start my car first thing in the morning or when it hasn't been driven for a while, the car will start and then the alternator comes on like a second later. I can tell this because when it does, the interior and exterior lights get brighter, fan speed blows a little faster, and the engine increases RPM slightly (enough that you can hear it). Do you think a better cable would eliminate this delay?

4 gauge wire is good for 70A of current. it's probably fine.

Yeah man, fvcking do it. Cost less than 10 bucs and it's something to do, which is what you wanted right. Get to it troop.

Sounds like a plan! I will add it to my To Do List for later.
