I hate SUVs with un-used tow hitches and balls. They put them on and never take them off their cars. They use them as sort of bumper guards, but the morons live in a congested city and usually park by braille severely damaging other people's cars.
Nail knee or shin on it once and its off forever trust me.
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3 8.0
i towed with my pick up about every summer weekend, and plowed in the winter, for some reason GM trucks you cant see the bumper in the side view so when backing up to a wall, the hitch was my safety.
people used to walk into it all the time too. i even did once, just once lol
best was i was in Queens NY just came over the Manhattan bridge stuck at the Atlantic st light, ( i know you know where this is , local reference for buick man) and im stuck past the cross walk by the traffic cop, bunch of school kids come walking across the cross walk and one nails the hitch like no one ever, shook the truck hard, and it makes a very distinctive sound when hit lol,,kid goes down hard and fast and all his friends just f ing laughed at him so damn hard.
then days after 9-11 i was getting on the GWB off 87 and this hasidic jew guy just rolled into my ass. we both get out, hes got a ball hitch size hole in his front bumper, and my truck is fine. hes like dont worry about it, im like why would i? its your fault lol and he drove off with a new dent/scratch/hole in his car. if you dont know those people dont wash anything. or care what the car looks like.
in the end, i loved my extra long trailer ball and hitch i had. lol
We rarely tow with the truck but the hitch stays on it's just insurance as far as I'm concerned in case someone does bump into it or I back into something. Not that I ever have but I'm more worried about others drivers damaging it then myself.
I ran into it myself once.. Being drunk at home and not thinking clearly and slammed my knee right into it. Never again
Same here lol. After that it's wide walk around from here on out sometimes it takes a bit of pain for you to plans your moves differently.
Although it's slightly irrelevant, I was on the top floor of the engineering hall at my school and was looking out the window. It was super windy this day and I saw a dumpster starting to catch wind and roll out from the carousel lol. It was rolling so fast I could hear it and it slammed into a nice maroon 04+ grand prix.
Good.. We don't need any more red Grand Prixs in the world

Lol I knew you would chime in to that. The worst part about it was the wind dragged it across the car and it hit a SUV too.
If I go to Walmart (Which I hate doing) I usually park a couple spots away from the cart corral but make sure there is another car in between me and it so they can take the flying carts into their car.
I avoid try to avoid Walmart at all cost I rather spend a little more and go to Target instead. I will go out of way to park away from everyone even if I'm going in just for one quick thing.
