The fact that the driver would deliver an empty box boggles my mind. Although, I see it all the time, so I shouldn't be too boggled.

I do a lot of shipping here at work. ALL carriers suck in their own special way.

A few years ago, I was tracking a shipment for a customer. The carrier advised me that it was damaged and I would have to do a freight claim. When I asked them how they damaged a pair of add-a-leafs, they put me on hold for 5 minutes, and when they returned told me that I had to do a freight claim. The gal got all testy with me as I wouldn't stop asking the same question over and over. The worst part is that I loose everytime I have to do a freight claim.

Enjoy your empty box.

If you ever have a chance to see a carrier's sort facility, do so. Some of them are nasty. I saw one in town here and was amazed that any parcels make it in one piece; rollers don't take longer parcels, staff throwing and tossing parcels.
