I bought a set of Bose speakers off him - they arrived in the mail and when I opened the box - they were packed like crap and the 6x9's were all tore up to heck and back from being packed crappy...dude used to pieces of bubble wrap to pack 4 speakers in a box...then today I went to plug in the back ones and nothing !!!
The 6x9 is all tore up and souns like crap !! The smaller rear deck speaker doesn't even work !!!

I paid some decent money for 6 speakers and only two work !!! So basicly he stole from me.
If you ever see this guy posting on here - ignore him !!
I have tried several times to contact him and he is ignoring text messages and calls.

Other than call him over and over - is there anything anyone suggests to get my money back ??

Unfortunately I sent him money through western union.
It's bad enough he packed the box horribly.
But here I go to plug the speakers in...and the small shelf 4 inch speaker doesn't even work.
The 6x9's aren't even usable...the cones are all tore up.
And I don't think western union will give me my money back either.
I'm pissed...I'm out all the money I spent on them. And he wont return my calls or anything.

    You aren't busting my balls.
I suggested paypal and he said he doesn't have a paypal account.

I guess I wanted the speakers so bad I just looked past the 'what if's and just sent it to him western union.
    Bad decision on my part.

I guess I was so excited that I finally found a set of Bose speakers I didn't care about what would happen if they were messed up or didn't work.
I'll yell ya this much....never again will I send western union.
    I learned my lesson.
But really any mature responsible person with any kind of compassion would answer my calls and texts and at least refund me half my money back.
I don't want it all back..at least half...I even text him and told him that.
    No answer.
I guess I'll chalk this up as an experience and lesson learned.

I have fallen for the western union "scam" from another ass on here as well. Basically i posted on every single forum he posts on and youtube not to buy anything from him but other than that, we just got screwed! Sorry to hear about your crappy experience it sucks, I know.

Well I looked him up...he doesn't post on here very often.

He even told me through text that the speakers were A-1 and sounded excellent.

I should have known better...I wouldn't call it a scam -but I seriously think he knew the one rear one didn't work.

I'm not even sure if the any of them work...I know the two 6x9's are tore and aren't fixable or useable.

I have gotten a chance to check the front ones.
Who even knows if they work.

But,if there is one positive out of this - he spent over 27 dollars to ship them here..so he is out of twenty seven bucks.

sorry to hear that buck but its like buying something off of craigslist you take that risk your best bet is to go to like an audio store or even walmart if your looking for something on the cheap

I think I just might take your advice rock...

My head unit is fine...I am probably better off going and getting some non Bose 6x9's that sound decent and two fronts that sound decent instead of hunting and hunting for replacement Bose factory ones.
If I buy new they would probably actually sound better than 13 year old Bose speakers anyway.

Check out Crutchfield, they always set me up with nice stuff for awesome prices, especially if you find a sale or an open box deal... free shipping usually too.

and yeah, "I dont have a paypal account" is usually directly translated to "I dont want to be found when you are demanding a refund." He had that planned from the getgo. If that ever happens again, just refuse to speak to them any further until they will deal through paypal, it takes like 2 minutes to sign up and like a day or two to hook up your bank account if you need to.

Well Fribo I am starting to put two and two together and I'm realizing he ripped me off.
I'm actually lucky I didn't pay him more than 95 bucks for the speakers I did get.

But he got screwed out of 27 bucks he put up for shipping.
So in all actuality he only made a 68 dollar profit.

But it's the idea that he did what he did.
I don't even want all my money back...at least half of it.
And you are right - he probably knew all along what he was doing...not to mention he packed the box like ****...those speakers were moving around so much,I'm surprised all of them weren't shot.
And truth be known - who even knows if any of them work...I'm just going by what he told me.

I had asked him if he had a paypal account he said that he didn't and I toild him I could do western union or paypal and he just said western union is fine.
    I just agreed.
    Never again.
And to this hour - I still haven't heard from him.

    I probably wont either.

The only thing about buying aftermarket speakers - don't that have different wiring connectors than my Bose I have now ?? Wouldn't I need different wiring harnesses ??

Crutchfield will help with all that. Been awhile since I've ordered from Crutchfield, but I seem to remember that they include the wiring stuff you'll need. Could be wrong, though. Check them out and see.

When possible paypal if you find something weird going on see how long they been on here, how many posts, and if he has sold before as a quick Background on the person.

From personal experience aftermarket doesn't sound better then bose. I have stock and aftermarket polk audio down to the small 4 inch in the back 6x9 and fronts they sound great but bose is just toned to the exact amp and stereo. Again my personal opinion.
