We didn't have lifted trucks cause we did a ton of towing and all so they were just diesels. And a couple gas trucks as well. I miss the farm and plan to go back to it one day

Nah man you just need to port out the supercharger....just get a bag of that sand blasting material and turn on your car. Then hook a hose to the end of your intake and put the throttle down while having the other end in the bag. Let it keep sucking it in until either A) the motor shuts off or B) the bag is empty. Disconnect the hose, throw some sugar in the gas tank, and you are all set!

I'm telling you if you don't use the higher octane you are going to damage something, Jus sayin.

I ported my TB and now the car runs funny.

    Why Shouldn't I buy a 4120-1823129-71212 dollar intake?

I raced a mustang and won.

Matt, You seem like a noob to me. Yet I answer numerous questions on the same thing day in and day out. Odd thing is.. I like to say things along the lines of "should, could and would". Reason for that..... I've found that the world can teach you something new each day if you are willing to listen and talk to others etc.

Noobs teach me a ton, just like a guy who's been doing this most of his mechanical life. Doesn't mean they don't have something to contribute or teach us.. it means we need to be willing to listen and help them out. I didn't magically have the ability to ask the right questions or read into what someone writes on the internet in order to know the problem with a car that I never saw or heard run. It's a learned talent, read enough newb threads and you'll get a good feel for thump, wump, errrrrrrrrt and be able to apply them to what you know as the problem gets solved.

Meanwhile..if a newbie posts a lot of threads on the same thing, click the report button and write a decent reason for the report. A mod will clean it up pretty quickly and we'll ask that noob to post one thread per topic.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Bill you are correct very much so. The main reason i started this thread was out the aggrevation from a couple of memebers making the same thread a few times. I was a noob to site at one time i did ask stupid questions. Once people showed me how to use the forum i stopped asking questions and started to read. There was things i still didnt understand i asked for claryfication. I am still a noob mechanical wise i will always be because you never stop learning in life.

Press the report button. It'll give you a certain amount of satisfaction. Then....one of us will see it and drop the hammer, aka teach the noober the way things roll here

I feel like making Matts day. At some random point I will start making random Newb threads in every section until he goes crazy.
