i got onto the clearview express way from Francis Lewis blvd headed north to the throgs neck bridge, its a 50 i think, im doing 65, and right at the LIE exit, this cop just drives out and blocks the high way, it was full brakes, and i almost hit him. that really is a lazy ass move on the cops part. its safer to chase the car down for sure.
Madison county il has a no pursuit law. They've caused too many accidents and deaths. Lol.

that means the poeple who they chase are dumb. they run, then the cops chase to hard/long then the deaths happen.

if a speeder just keeps driving get the tag, let him go, i agree not worth a death.

but smart people just pull over and take the ticket like a man. why run? it only makes things worse in the end, one way or another. even if you know your going to jail, its best to just pull over. you never really get a way.

i got a ticket for being in the fast lane, aka far left, crossing a bridge ( throgs neck bridge) where no truck signs are clearly posted as a box truck with a circle and slash through the middle. im in a pick up truck under the gvw posted as well. get the ticket, go to court, 9 am and there were 40 of us crammed into one small court room, i mean small, 20 by 15 tops, if that. and the court starts, and the cop who gave me the ticket walks in, well he gave everyone in the room a ticket lol

i was one of the few who got off, i took picks of the signs, and of my truck, took them to court, with a copy of my reg with the gvw on it, tossed out, said "see ya" to the cop and skipped off happy lol

Sounds like the cop had an IQ of 5 if he thought "No Trucks" meant pick ups too.

I had rocketed differential number 2 in my Stealth at Pittsburgh Raceway. Its like 70 miles from my house. My buddy's dad was there and hooked me to a chain and towed me back to his place 5 miles from the track. My buddy who also ended up there took me and my cousin home so we could get his F150 and a tow dolly.

Long story short, my Stealth is on Megan Racing coilovers, while not "slammed", it sits low. It sits so low in fact that there was no getting it on the dolly with the front bumper cover on. We took the cover off and got it on the dolly and towed it home. It sat in my garage for a week until I got my trans put back together.

I got it back together on a Sunday night so I didn't have time to put the cover back on, but the actual bumper itself was still there. I figured I'd put it back on the next weekend. Well I out on lunch break and some douchenozzle township cop pulled me over because "I didn't have a front bumper and was in violation of code xxxx"

I looked up the code as soon as I got back to work and I knew I had him. I took pictures as soon as I got home. I printed off the vehicle code straight from the PA DMV site. I printed off the definition of a bumper, etc.

I went to court, handed my evidence to the District Magistrate and he asked the officer why he even stopped me. The officer was like "That bumper was not on there when I pulled him over"

I fired back with "I told you when you pulled me over that the car wouldn't go on the dolly with the bumper cover on. Also I am not stupid enough to remove a crash bar that can potentially save my life."

The judge looked at me and said, "You can leave. Case dismissed."

The cop just glared at me when I left.

Not really surprised no one tells cops the difference between the bumper and the bumper cover.

cops should see enough accidents to know what a car looks like with no bumper cover on it. its the first thing to rip off a car theses days lol

like he said IQ of 5 lol
