    Trucks are bad in general and I hate the prius even more because it has hids in reflectors
    Does removing the spare count as weight reduction?

    Those are legal. Those are D2r/D1r bulbs, the projectors tend to use d2s/d1s. See the shelf at the bottom of this light

    Have you rode in a Colorado at night? The low beams are a bright as the highs on my GP. Then the highs let you see like its daytime its like god rolling down road.

    My STi came from the factory with HID low beams in a reflector housing as well. The reflectors are designed to properly reflect the arc of electricity, unlike reflectors made for halogen bulbs. It also is equipped with a dial inside that allows you to manually adjust the level of the lights up or down so that if you have dead bodies or anything else heavy in the trunk you can aim the lights down so you don't blind anyone.
