We had a lot of heavy rain this weekend and saturday morning I am stopped turning into a drugstore parking lot and BANG some ****head in a conversion van hits me from behind. He had turned around to talk to one of his kids and when he looked back at the road he saw me stopped with my blinker on, he tried to swerve but his drivers side headlight connected with my pass. side taillight.
The damage isn't too bad and his insurance company said they will take responsibility. He wasn't going too fast but exploded my pass taillight, ripped and mangled the rear bumper cover and buckled the rear quarter.

The first week I got this car (june) I got sideswiped when I was in the grocery store but the person left a note and the insurance company paid me $3600 but instead of fixing it I had a built tranny done, exhaust and some lil stuff.
I am dropping it off at the body shop tommorow and the owner (a friend of a friend) said I should be able to have the entire car fixed and repainted if I use generic parts instead of GM. They are giving me an allowance for a rental car but since I have a beater around from always having a mustang and needing a winter car he said I should make a few bucks there too. Hopefully it works out in my favor, I have never had a car accident in my life and now the poor GTP gets clipped twice in a few months.

I dropped it off to the body shop yesterday and they are going to replace the quarter panel and I asked him to fix a few other things and roll the fenders before painting the entire car. She might be 10 years old but the interior is spotless and everything works, the body will be perfect and it just hit 92k miles so she is still strong and the tranny was just built 1k miles ago.....now I can concentrate all my extra money on performance and start suprising the people who gave me crap when I sold my stang for an "old man car".

It started with a chick I work with because I took a hundred bucks from her boyfriend and humiliated his srt4, multiple times from a dig (dig races are like kriptanite to import guys) and from various rolls. I used to taunt her and tell her he should give the car to her because turbo or not a neon is a girls car. Once I sold the stang and got the GTP she said "why would you sell your mustang for an old mans car" and damnit it just caught on from there.

The srt is near stock and her dude doesn't have the money to do any serious modding so i told her with my car being 10 years old I needed to feel it out and repair a few things, give me 6 mos and the prix would also wipe its @$$ with his femanine ride once the spring rolls around. I actually got a part time job a couple nights a week specificly so I have an extra hundred bucks a week to dump into the GTP.
