My moms will keep the card and use it. She is an educated person. She holds a Masters Degree and is currently going for her Doctorate.

This is precisely why I tell people I don't give a f*ck what level of education an individual has completed. That is in NO way, shape or form a measure of someone's intelligence, nor is it an indicator that a person is qualified to be in their respective field. Just about anyone can memorize material and regurgitate it on a test, but thinking on your feet and problem solving on the spot in real time is an entirely different story, and those are far better benchmarks of intellect.
