SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont tell them anything!!! dont even give them your paypal!!!!!!

We have had this going on on some of our local sites....

I'd email them back stating that you have their I.P. address and have passed it along to local law enforcement, and have nstructed them to pass it on to FBI....they will never send you another email...

The second one doesn't seem like a scam. But the first one, being that they want you to send it out of the country, is a scam.

Typically, a scammer will want to pay you more to send the object out of the country. They payment will come in from out of the country as well. Once you have the money you will ship the item. Then come to find out a couple days later that the account the money was taken from isn't real, and your bank (or paypal) pulls the money from your account. So you don't have the money or the item.

A lot of people have gotten screwed on this.

Hahaha i had the same stories written to me when i was trying to sell stuff on ebay and my old car on cragslist. they said thier child lives in africa and they offered m more than i was asking. Haha when i was selling my old ps2 on ebay like a year ago i got a letter saying that the guy would give me 450 plus shipping for the ps2 cause his son in africa really wanted one lol. Then another time when i was selling my parts car i got a similar message but i screwed with him saying, i messed up on my info and i told him it was a pontiac camaro with a 5 cylinder engine in it and it had alot of miles and i wanted like 7500 for it and hes like ok thats a good deal lol what idiots.

heres a reply from an ad on craigslist lol
    Jason,

Thanks for the response, Actually when i saw your advert i was hoping you will still have the item for sale. okay............concerning the pick up i have spoken with my shipping company for the pick up, they advised that I send the shipping charges together with your payment in the CHECK my colleague would issue out to you so as to make the transaction faster. because if i send the shipper a separate check it will take them 15 working days to clear in Greece.

So I would have to instruct my colleague to make out the check with excess funds including the shippers charges to you via ups next day air immedaitely you get it, then cash it deduct your portion with 55$ compesation for the little stress you go through that makes the total of $855 for you, and send the excess funds to the shipping company for immidiate pick up of the (1998 4 x 4 blazer) from your house and other items which they are suppose to shiped to my house from new york, colorado, and florida. i will email you my shipper's info where to send the shipping charges to via Western union or Money Gram.

All you are to do is to take the check to your bank and get it cash then have your portion deducted from the total amount and send the remaining balance to the shipper for the pick-up of the item..

Please I would need you to do me this favour for me as well my shipper coz is the only reliable shipper that has been shipping goods for me for over 4 years now. do this favour to avoid any delay in the transaction. Thanks for your understanding..

Note: pls dont forget to send me your cell phone number also with the name you want on the check including the address which the check will be mail to by courier service.

i look forward to your prompt response...........

    BEST REGARDS..............
    Michael Carrol.
