i used to take my car in the diy wash all the time and spray under the hood to clean it but the open cone makes me lazy lol i always forget to bring bags to cover up the alternator and **** so i can wash

I hate seen grime under the hood of my car it bugs me, dirty engine bays are a big turn off when buying a used car aswell i went and looked at a few inreally like and the engine bay was terrible.

My car gets dirty because I use it and don't have much time. Then it gets cleaned and I'm happy again.

Under the hood is clean.
Outside is dirty.
washing your car daily is a waste of water and time.
And yes, washing your car daily isn't overkill if you actually DRIVE your car and demand it be clean all of the time.

LOL, Taz.. having worked with a mechanic for enough time...trust me that our cars are clean in comparison to most out there.
Plus..if I wasn't so busy suggesting to some guy that has a white car and crazy plans that he dump crimp connectors to solder stuff etc. I'd have the time to wash my car.

Worked as a porter for a dealership before I got into parts... You could eat off my supercharger and I haven't washed under the hood for a few months.
