Lol.. most likely, yes. Underestimating someone with a weapon is never a good idea. Half of the time, people doing this are so scared themselves that they'll mess around and shoot you without even thinking about it if you make a move that they interpret as being threatening.

Pretty sure he woulda... This dude was cracked the **** out and wearing the skimask and the whole bit, and already driving a stolen car. Looked like a .45 if I had to guess He ran up to the car when I parked in front of my house with the gun in my face then made me get out and stand on the other side of the road. He broke the dvd flip out I paid over $400 for not but a week earlier and stole my wallet with not a single dollar in it and my cards were canceled within minutes... So he got absolutely nothing but a nice leather wallet and some cancelled cards. As soon as he got back in his car I ran and grabbed my 30-06 out of the house, I was gonna snipe his ass from a few blocks but he had turned and I lost him... I now have my concealed carry, and if I had it then he woulda been a dead crackhead for sure. Sorry to threadjack ya!

As far as the gun point mugging goes that **** sucks.

As far as keeping your stuff from getting stolen make sure you turn it off when you get close to your destination. For instance I was rocking a 15" in my Intrepid before it died and I had one of those stereos with the several adjustable settings so whenever I got within a block or two of my neighborhood I would change the radio to a no bass setting and blast it out the open windows and no one knew the better. That also goes with anywhere else you go, always leave a few blocks as a buffer zone.

Also within that buffer zone drive around a bit to make sure no one is following you. I had a scare like that once where I was driving to my friends house and had my sub going. I get to a stop sign, stop, and pull away. A few seconds later this SUV pops out behind me and gets on my butt (mind you this is NOT a bad neighborhood nor bad part of town). So I turn off my stuff because I am getting close to said friends house when I realize this guy is starting to follow me. So as a test I decide to just drive around in this big circle that I had already took and sure enough the dude was still following me. So at the next stop sign I do a stop and go and flat out floor it (the 2.7 was trying as hard as it could!). I take my first left doing like 30 with the guy trying to sort of keep pace. I continue doing like 40 through this neighborhood to get a way (I am not proud of this because I always do like 20 in neighborhoods because I don't want to kill someones kid). I take a few more fast lefts and rights and drive down to this cricle and pop around and park behind this car for a few minutes and then head off on my way. At that point my friend wanted to play basketball at the park so I met him there....the entire time I had my eyes on my car and made sure it was fine. This was just this summer and I have not seen that SUV since probably some gang banger looking for some kid to steal something from.

Mind you I am and was 17 at the time but I am not exactly "little". I am a 5' 11" 230 pound guy and I used to play defensive line for my school against 300 pound guys that were 6'+ and beat the snot out of em so if that guy were to give me **** and he didnt have a weapon I would have been able to kick the crap out of him.

I vote 13 or 14KHz tone played through a secondary loudpseaker.

But seriously, turn down the music any time you're within 200 feet of a place you'd like to park your car.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

I have 3 sirens on my alarm, two of which are inside the cabin (no one gives a shÃ*t about the one on the outside). They will make your ears bleed. I had to deal with it one night when I locked my keys in my car...and when I opened the door with my spare, all hell let loose and I had to yank the fuses on my alarm so I could focus on locating my keys.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

^ This... I don't know why alarm speakers are NOT put into the cab... If your ears are bleeding from the noise you won't want to stay in the car long enough to steal anything. Besides that, people today don't have the balls to get involved in others affairs and do the right thing and stand up to criminals, so they will just ignore the neighbors alarm and let the thieves get away.

Maybe you shouldn't bang your sounds on campus. Eathier they have heard you, or its someone who has been in your car. Be careful, I'm sure they will be back.

They will be back once he replaces everything to take it again... I've seen it a dozen times in the "D". Not sure how things work where he is, but criminals are relentless here lol.
