Maybe it's a Detroit thing, but everyone thinks it's cool to put HIDs in non-projector halogen housings. If I didn't care about my GP, then I would drive right into the next a$$hole to blind me.

"But it costs so much money to buy a whole new housing.." Yeah well it usually costs a lot to do things the right way.

it's everywhere. im getting very sick of it. if you run HIDs in halogen housings you need to run the lights so low they are useless anyway, but who aims headlights?

I mean, if you're smart to aim yours, then I respect you. But of you just put them in a halogen housing and call it a day and blind everyone, then I would like to smack you.

There are reflector housing HID setups too, but you can't retrofit those into cars

    Crappy cell pics!

^^ That's about a 15 foot wall, but as you see on the far left, it keeps going onto the other wall. I used to be one of those douchers that ran HID in the reflectors. But alas, Drunkie and those few before him have shown me the way of the projector!

I wish my financial aid check from school was here already so I could buy some wheels! But I need to save up because I'm going to Pennsylvania for Carlisle. :\

Two weeks ago? Roughly. I'm actually still doing one. lol. I decided to black out the reflectors and orange side reflectors. And I had one of the cutoffs slightly angled and it was bothering me. That last pic I took tonight. I never noticed the first time around that the cutoff is slightly curved towards the right hand side. According to hidplanet, that seems to be a common "problem" with the Minis. Not too bad though.

Yeah the minis definitely are nice, but I've had VIP projectors in other cars (Lexus LS460 projectors) and they can't hold a candle to them. Mini's fit the best, as the FX-R projectors are the next smallest you can go but they don't fit well in our lights.
