He got about a 1 car jump on me but I stopped his pull while in 2nd and once my car shifted into 3rd gear (around 85mph) I started to reel him in slowly but steadily, and pulling a little harder as the speed increased. By 130mph I had passed him and ended up about 1-1.5 cars in front.
The stang looked like an auto car, and sounded stock. My Z is all stock except for an SLP lid and cat-back. I was very proud of the old LS1 to say the least!"

That TA that I ran dead even with, ran a 13.1 @ 107 at about 2,000ft DA in the summer heat. With a not so good 60'. He also put down 319 rwhp UNcorrected. So my car probably makes a bit more than that being since I only have 4 gears to his 6. My gears are stock 3.23's btw. Like I said my car has been well taken care of it's whole life and obviously is a strong runner. It also has ZERO options, not even cruise control. So it's probably a bit lighter than the average F-body."
