what i find helps is to just let her go off and to stay calm and collected and she will find no reason to keep flipping her lid and evetually knock it off.

She's not flipping. With a potential move in, proposal, she'll be two hours from her current location. "Her City", we've talked about it, consoled.. etc etc many times and she said something last night. I was tired and not really ready for whatever she was concerned about. Mentioned that I had a concern or two and she felt I was trying to make things about me. From there it just got better and better. No yelling, no real argument..just dealing with the normal BS.
Understandably she's going to be anxious etc..
I've never had a woman argue (or whatever) with me when I'm awake and focused. It's always while driving, late for something, after three days without sleep, eight hours outside of a meal. It's like they know.
the good news is that she aint moved in yet!!!! wait until i start working on my car in late spring, swapping engine, transmission and all that sh*t. my wife is going to go crazy. my gtp is going to be called all sorts of degrading names and i cant say sh*t. i might have to outsource the engine, tranny swap. anyone looking to take on the job?
Story of my life...althought this one is usually better than that.
Len.. drop it all off. I'm pretty familiar with that block. lol I've told her that I'm taking on plenty of car work to pick up some extra cash for home remodeling etc. Currently I've taken down a couple of walls, put in beams, redid celiings etc etc. Kitchen floor was coming up last night.
