Well if it makes anyone feel better, it is only a matter of days and they will stop making them FOREVER!

I have a 2004 GTP and it is a bit of a bucket too. Around 50k I needed new hubs, had to replace two pulleys, and a host of other little things. When it gets cold my e-brake freezes and it's left me hanging a few times. I keep my own personal service log and do everything myself. I agree with rampage, the core of the car is good but there is a lot of junk bolted onto it that needs a fixin'. Luckily I can twist a wrench and every time I get down on the beast I roll on the throttle and smile great big.

Interesting debate, well played Death. I agree with 99.99999999% of what you've said here. With the exception of Ford bringing back the iconic GT in the same manner that chevy reintroduced the camaro. Not a chance in hell anybody at ford ever thought this over priced american supercar was going to increase company sale profits by any measurable amount. Not that Ford wasn't a hurting company, but they did manage their company better then the other two. There was a reason ford didn't accept the bailout, they didn't need it. If there is a car ford brought back to increase profits it's the taurus.
