Yes that is the most unbelievable thing I have ever heard. My jaw hit the floor when I heard the charges would be dropped. The kid will probably now just live life like nothing happened.

Sometimes bullying and things like the link I posted go a little farther than "grow some balls and live with it". Some cases are lighter than others I realize, but none of them should just be shrugged off and told to just "grow some" and live with it.

    IMO.

I'm currently in High school and I myself am just starting to balls up to all the harassment. Messed up youth we got now.

Example(Imma vent a lil bit)... I was at a party and when i saw a dude push a girl, I said out loud.. "If he hits her, Imma stick his azz" His friend in college who happened to be a linebacker(about 210 lbs all muscle) turns to me and said "you gonna hit my boy marcus?" I reply... "Yea. If he hits a girl..." Resulted in me getting jumped in front of a HUGE party in the middle of the street by 3 college football players. I myself am only 17 I know how to fight but dang... and i was only trying to defend a girl. Everybody only watched(some recorded) as they tried stomping on my head when i was on the ground. Good thing my friend larry got em off me so i managed to walk away without any serious injuries just bloody. Life changin experience right there... I dont take that shet no more. I skip the small talk now if somebody gets in my face.

Since then... I've gotten into 3 fights defending kids I dont even know because i was in the same position. It helped build my self confidence back up and its made me a lot of good friends.

That 18 year old rapist guy - he needs to bent down and thank the good lord he is off the hook, if he went to prison, he would be someone's blushing bride.

    ****in eh, alright!

Ya know, it always seems easier to defend others than onesself. It is like when it comes to saving one's own butt, it can get a bit apprehensive but to defend others, it is easy to put your own safety aside.

The thing about individual bullies if if you stand up to them even once, the crap stops.
