Part of it is how you drive your car. I did the most work to my car, by FARRR, at my school. Had a friend with an 1989 Trans AM GTA that thought it was the baddest thing around, and when I asked him what he did to it "well, i took it to this shop, and that shop, and they did this and that."
So some people never touch their cars, just pay other people, whereas most people on here go out and replace everything on their GP's themselves.
Think of it this way, everything that you've replaced/fixed saved you a **** ton.
