the wife woke me up around 4:30 to tell me she thought we were having an earthquake. The doors that were closed in the house were trembling. I thought it was interesting, since I'd never felt and earthquake before. The big aftershock happened while I was in my office in a 22 floor hi-rise. To tell the truth I thought the aftershock was very long thunder, until the news informed me otherwise.

Yeah I shot out of bed at 4:30 wondering WTH was that! I then realized it wasn't someone shaking my bed, then I felt the two aftershocks and I kinda felt it was earthquake and then I felt the one sometime after 10am as well.

I called my folks in Louisville and they said they felt it to. It was reported to have been felt as far away as Atlanta, Chicago and Cincinnati.

Scary stuff, exciting in the breath, but still scary.
