i have grid as well, was one of the games i bought with the system. that is the only game i own that i havent beat yet because i cant pick it back up and enjoy playing it.
Hence.................brushing the dust off. I usually only play it for an hour at a time, otherwise it gets boring. I'm just trying to finish my career. I started to "make" a car shell, and spent almost 3 hours for something that resembles what an epileptic retard would do in photoshop.
i beat it. once you get to the final block at the top its all just endurance races and its so tedious. i just play the drift and **** cuz i have the steering wheel. a good wheel not some cheapo ****
mass effect 2 is great. Different from normal shooters besides the fact its rpg/shooter. Although i liked the first one better this game is one of the greatest i have played for the 360
realistic racing games are decent if you can CUSTOMIZE.
Anyone remember Sega GT for xbox? That game was pretty sweet, never beat it but i got to the point where I had a Z06 with enough power to spin on slicks at any turn.
i quit mw2, halo, oblivion, rock band, all i play now is forza3... that **** never gets boring
also i am now gt level member with this post
I do agree that there hasn't been a lot of stuff out there recently that's worth playing through the end in my opinion. Just FFXIII and only because I'm a big fan of the series (going to the san diego concert this July!!!!) and CODMWF2, but as many is still a sequel like most that have been released recently like bioshick2, mass effect 2 and asssasin's creed 2, they where all good, but it's hard to make a sequel of the same story fun again.
Besides that I'm usually stuck with the good old BF2142 for a online shooter, I love the fact of the large size maps and up to 64 players simultaneously. I haven't yet found another online shooter with so many players except ARMA2 but that was an epic fail.
I no longer play racing games because although I don't have a super car I do have a fast one and I rather take it to the track, then I can kind of live the real thing instead. There's no way they can simulate the G forces of real driving no matter how real the graphics are, what gives you the excitement of driving is the kick you get from the engine and tight turns.
nothing gets more boring than driving a car lap after lap. hence, why i don't do racing games anymore. can u say repetitive? :th_winking:
Forza can interesting. In forza 2 I had a fully upgraded General Lee. When I would pass other races while driving it I would have the dixie horn play from the MIC input on the controller.
Mirror's Edge is absolutely sweet
You want a good storyline? Go play bioshock 1 and 2 and mass effect 1 and 2
I play a wide variety of games. Recently I have been working on Super Mario Bros. for the Wii, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Halo Reach (when it comes out) and the Sims 2. I prefer Sims 2 over Sims 3. I get tired of all the shooting games. All the same anymore.
i dont like playing shooter games online, i hate it. cod 4 was my first shooter game and after 2 months, i was still getting 6 and 20 or whtever. plus u play against those stupid 10 year olds tht own the hell out of u. but i love forza 3, best game ever.
but i did start playing gears of war 2, way better than cod.
Ugh thread from the dead
I play on 360:
Trials HD
UFC 2010
Grand Theft Auto
Lego Batman
Lego Indiana Jones
Test Drive Unlimited
And some other games
anyone play hot wheels?!?! for the 360, i kinda want to buy it for fun. only $5
