I was lucky last year at college, I barely drove anywhere. The farthest I would really go during the week was like 2 miles. I went home a couple times a month and that was about 15 miles. I barely put any miles on. This year I have about 30 miles each day to go to school so the miles are really adding up.

i went home for break and wanted to see a bunch of people. i got an oil change after the 110 mile trip home at about 131,7xx and looked at the odometer like a week later and it was at 132,007. i still had a bunch of driving to do. it ended up being 600 miles in a week. my town is like 4 square miles, no joke. i can't figure it out

wow the most i drove in a week in college was a little over 800 miles, i drove to pittsburgh from youngstown, drove to school and back to my apartment for 5 days, drove back to youngstown, went to my buddys apartment in akron that friday night, drove back next morning, went to cleveland on saturday and drove around up there all night then drove back...all in 7 days! i pretty much live on the highways. the only other time when i drove more than that in a week is when i drove the GP to myrtle beach and back

Speaking of miles racking up, my poor GP gets driven at least 50 every day I work... and Saturdays, sometimes 80 or more... and Tahlequah, OK is only like 7 miles long, if that... probably less lol.

BUT I've got full synthetic running in her, and once i get the extra cash im getting a coolant flush and replacement done when i replace the trannyfluid.. gotta keep on top of it lol

Yeah hitting deer sucks. I hit two at once about a year or so ago. Killed them both. The GP surprised me and help up very very well!

College will kill a car.... I am only 24 and have owned around 22 vehicles.... 16 of them through 4 years of college.... rough neighbor hood you could say... lots of kids from down south coming to school up here were it snows (and can't drive in snow)... and my college is cheap and didn't plow the lots much or drop sand... so it was slick as s.h.i.t.... one kid plowed into my plymouth lazer (which had a talon transmission and rear axle in it making it all wheel drive, by far one of my fav cars).... shoved the car into a tree... lucky for me did little damage to it.. just pushed the bumbers in all I had to do is tug on them and they came out fine.... then another vehicle I had was my s-10... fricken kid in a lifted ford 1/2 ton 2wd smashed it hard.... (winter again).... if i were still in college I would find some cheap like $1,000 dollar pile and drive it at college.... and park my gp in a storage facility near by.... best idea i every had... thats were I stored/store my camaro still... since I have a job in the same town as were I went to college now.
