There is a Shell gas station right around the corner from my house and there are cop cars parked there all the time. and it gets worse thru out the day and into night I have seen like 5 or 6 there at one time. they must wanna get the fresh doughnuts when they get there.

I have seen the cops parking in the end of a private driveway with the lights off. It was a ghost car too (dark brown/grey) so you couldn't really see it when you went past it. This was in the daytime, but I know that around here anyways the police have to be clearly visible. They can't hide behind a tree or building or sit with their lights off. Although I have seen them sit beside the grocery store in my town and right beside a huge old tree. Now the tree is gone and they don't sit at the store anymore, they just park at the hardware store in their very well marked car. haha.

I always know where the cops sit at on that highway, and I saw everyone infront of me braking, I was just distracted I guess. But I was like whatev, I don't really care. I can't really complain considering I have been going way faster then 80 and never got caught. Might as well just get a 5 over ticket and pay $100, w no points, and a tint ticket for like $90, then a 20 over ticket and lose my license.

I guarentee both cops came out to look at me though, because one came to tell me why I got pulled over and stuff and then came back with both of them out of the car. I was really scared I was going to jail.

Why the hell are they on private property?

I've only seen that once, but the cop was busy writing and was in plain sight.

Why would you be scared you were going to jail?

I've gotten a ticket for doing 46 in a 40 on my old bike, I was really doing 67 in a 40, but the cop had a bike to, so he let me off cheap.

The ticket was still worth 2 points, and was $85, so I had to take the 4 hour class to have the points removed, and paid the fine, haven't got a ticket since. (3 years ago)

I honestly don't know. I haven't seen them there since, so they could have been told to leave or found another spot.

Private property = you can't be there without permission or just cause.

Trying to catch speeders isn't a just cause last I heard.

Have you thought that maybe the property owner is the one with the speeding complaint, and gives the officers permission to be their?

    Yes.

In the place I've seen it, you're always able to see the cop in time.

are you talking about? When did I chastise someone for speeding? I simply gave a possible reason why an officer was running radar on private property.

I usually like your responses and enjoy conversing with you over the forums, but in this case your reply wasn't constructive, but an attempt to bate me.

I would expect such a bitingly witty comment from only you becca...do yourself a favor and stay in school.

I guarentee both cops came out to look at me though,
Don't flatter yourself too much now. I'm pretty sure the things that were probably said about you and/or the way you dressed were so degrading it would make you cry.

WOW. Degrading because I was in my work clothes, which consist of a black blazer and a white dress shirt with black dress pants. Honestly, I don't see the point of either of your posts in this thread.

I'm not going to tarnish your timid, naive mind. If really think they both got out of the car just to take a look at you.....wow, just wow.

I avg 10 over, I wont lie... but my tickets usually push 20+ cant help it, the whine just gets me

Ill have to take a pic sometime they do it again... local patrol shift changes at 11, the ones getting off the clock stop in at the Exxon for whatever reason they need to, and the ones coming in stop to fill up and get something to drink... I once pulled in to 3 locals, 2 sheriffs, a Highway Patrol, and an EMT... walked in calmly... looked around at them and said "Well, I know not to rob THIS store." and proceeded to get a drink, they all cracked up
