Well I already have a supercharged 3.8, so I guess it wouldn't benefit my car. In fact since I have a 07 model can't even da a performance tune. I only have a few basic mods because of that. Anyway it sounds like an interesting modification.

Yeah if you already have a supercharged car it's useless, but if you're car is N/A and you topswap it with the S/C topend you actually have more HP than the standard S/C engine because the N/A engines have higher compression.

idk about the hole a grand thing for good parts i checked out s/c's on car-parts.com they run from 800 to 450 then u got the heads gaskets exaust manifold just to name a few head run about 300+ i was gunna top swap my car but i dont have the money atm i want my car go fast

You get the parts used, no one buys all those parts brand new.
I got the entire swap for $300, but that was a pretty sick deal (thanks again Jim).
