Honestly for the price, Its much more cost effective, to just replace the entire assembly, like i said, i picked mine up for 55 dollars. Not too bad, a motor is like 30-40, so you might as well replace everything, instead of band-aiding. If your From what i can see, the OE regulator didnt have a spec of grease on it, but the aftermarket one i purchased had a good layer of greese covering it..
The guy who sold me my car actually drilled through the door shell, and shoved a 4x4x4 chunk of wood under the window, and then drilled a COUPLE screws into it.
Made me really happy to find that out. Thanks D-Bag![]()
In the newer Bonnevilles.. we fix them instead of replace. Then you aren't at the mercy of the next piece of plastic.
BTW.. 92-99 Bonneville regulators rock, move fast and never ever ever fail.
