so today I flew in and at the house for my first day on R&R. we'll first thing I did was shower and crank up the GP. we'll I let my wife drive it for 2 weeks and then my sister for 2 weeks. then it was parked, well I took it down the road, first thing I noticed was the brakes we're howling at me, so I'm like they ate up my brakes ( typical women drivers ). then the steering felt alil "unbalanced". while doing 40mph I lift my head out of the window and see my front driver rim "warped". the frame of the rim isant warped but the lip is bent in, a nice area bent. It looks TERRIABLE. I can possibly post pics tmrw, too dark. anyways I freakin lost my marbles, stressed to the max. my sis and my wife is both blaming it on eachother ( personally I think it was my sis cause of her trying to convince me that I did it in the past, OH NO! i'm not that stupid ). then my wife admits to putting a 5incher scratch on the rear driver door. also a small dint where someone sat there fat @$$ on the hood. ( not real noticeable ) but I can tell where the body and the hood isant flush on that side. like I said not noticable at all. This Blows! life sux! I don't think i've ever been so mad before in my life. the rim looks unsafe since it looks like it on the verge of breaking the tire seal. my leather in the back is filled with candy, crackers, crumbs...whatever happend to respecting someones car when their helping you out?? Alot of work to do tomorrow, I gotta go to a rim shop and see what they can do. I feel like I deserve better, not to get sheeted on...

Ouch! I guess, next time, you'll just have to lock the keys up somewhere safe and not let anyone drive it... I'd be more than happy to look over it for you, but I'm in the wrong Fayetteville.

That sucks. You'd think they'd have some respect driving someone elses car.

wow, its amazing how much damage someone can rack up in 2 weeks when its not thier car! Meanwhile we who own them could maybe do that much in a year or more 100% accidentally not by carelessness.

i hope you can get it fixed up and it doesnt cost ya too much.

You can leave it with my brother and I'll come pick it up when you leave again hehe. (He's at Bragg)

That really does suck, not the way you'd want to come back from R&R. I'd be ticked off beyond belief if someone did that to my car or the Dakota. It stands true that no one will treat your car better than you.

That's sucks bro. My cousin just got back from a tour. He was in iraq then stayed in georgia for a bit. When he got home, he found out his mom traded in his 95 z28 maro for a new hyundai tiburon! I guess he got beyond pissed and flipped out a little. He went from a car that ran high 13s to a tiburon that runs 16s! Sucks

Take that 'typical women drivers' statement back. I'm a really good driver =) But that blows Andrew I'd made them both clean it

you can imagine how sloppy it looks when the wheel rolls and you can feel it in the steering wheel. either way, i've decided to let it go. no-ones owning up to it and either way, the loss is at my hands. i'm the only one who would fix it anyways. I cant go to rim shop, big storm. now that everyone know's, ur GP is a 1 driver car!!!

lol great comments guys. my uncle "knows a guy" who maybe can machine it. and its not a flemsey rim, although it is alloy. the impact was defently sudden and hard as theres no sign of any curb rash. these tires had about 100 miles on them when i left, I can already tell the tread differnce in the front and rear. and gtpinc lmao

that is unbelievable...here u are in iraq risking ur life and ur are even nice enough to let ur wife and sis drive around ur car that is probably sweeter than what they r driving.. nd they treat it like that...i mean the rim was probably an accident it could of happened to anyone..but someone should own up to it...but the mess that got left their is no excuse for...the LEAST they could have done was keep it clean for u

wow i can't tell you how mad i would be if that happened to my car
solo driver ftw the only other person i let drive my car is my dad, his truck has 2 dents in it and its a 99!

i'd never let either ride in it after that abuse, and personally would put the mess in a trash bag and dump it in your sisters car
