i dont know where you get the idea these cars are small? the dimensions are not as large as other cars, but they weigh in excess of 3,000 lbs on the 92-93. they reenforced the bodys from 90-91, and their weight was anywhere from 2,800 to 3,400 for a fully loaded car. i use to have a 93 LS-S (GS-R minus the B17 and ABS) it was a non-v 1.8 and got walked all over by a stock 3.0 DOHC 97 Taurus. not a fast car to begin with by any means.Originally Posted by blowfishRus6

when did you get the right to tell somebody to shut up, when you were not really even a part of this to begin with, and are only going after her because she is a girl, and you think she is the least threat. you shut up, and come back when you actually have to earn your way around here. not all of us have the luxury of having parents buy us a 2 year old car, and dealer maintain it. most of us have worked very hard not only to attain our cars, but maintain them, and turn them into the machines they are now.
the way i see it, MOST of the "ricers" around are 15-18 year old kids who got a Honda Civic because their parents bought it for them, because it was cheap and reliable. and they think that throwing a fart can on it, makes them special. i on the other had have had to work for my car. i got it, not running, and have been working virtually nonstop for 7 months on it. now im not saying i can walk all over all of you, or any of you for that matter. my car is big, has almost no low end torque, and is truly under powerd for such a large car. that said, i do know my car will hold its own just fine. but then again, im running with one of the few Honda engines that naturally produces more torque than horse power.
i feel for OP having to listen to all these fart cans running around, i had one on my Integra when i bought it, and it got annoying after about a day, if not sooner. my Legend doesnt have a muffler on it at all right now, and i cant stand it. a nice roar, like any dual exhausted Pontiac is wonderful, but this, hear me coming twenty minutes before i get there, is just silly....
