Hondas can be fast just like any car can. Sure they get a bad rap because of teenagers and fart cans, but there are some out there that would give any car on this forum a beat down. A guy I work with has a 400HP sleeper Civic. Looks just like any other piece of trash Civic, but it blows the doors off expensive cars at 10.3 in the 1/4. Keep in mind he also has a 45th anniversary Corvette and a GTO.
It comes down to all this useless bashing. I am not arrogant enough to trash talk all Hondas because I've seen all too well that some of those things can be quick. Still sound like a pissed off weed eater, but quick none the less. Do I want to own one? No. I feel a V6 with a better torque curve (like the 3800) is a much more enjoyable daily driver. But at the track some of those "toys" will beat every 3800 on this forum. Sad, but that's how it is.
