Is the LG8/3.1 engine any better than the LA1/3.4 GM engine

im not 100% shure of what needs to be changed, but a guy here dropped his crashed gtp'd sub frame and swapped it in the mini van. might have been a montana as well.

its been a while since i read this, give it a read through, might have some more info on the swap.

So you think it would be better to look in to the 3.8 instead of 3.1? I know they have more power but she wants something to drive not to race, or would you still go 3800 anyway
