Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
The GA members still active? I stay swamped with school and work and am slowly loosing my passion since i dont have time anymore and it sucks! I would love it we could get a good meet together maybe in the fall and all hang out... maybe it will be a good swift kick in the butt to get me back into it! I am in warner robins and pending the size of the meet can go just about anywhere in the state if someone wants to organize a big meet with all the members local. If its in the atlanta area, maybe we can stretch out the AL/TN/SC members and have a large gathering. I wish i wwas good at organizing such but I suck at that. Maybe Stone Mountain would be a good place? Theres plenty of parking and i think a few places for any self-proclaimed grillers who want to show off their skills.
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
We kinda took the summer off, but yeah we are still active as normal. Stone mountain would be neat.
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
I'm def in I live in stone mountain!!!
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
It will give me the incentive to clean up my Impala.
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
Im in the Powder Springs area, would love to do a meet sometime.
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
anyone good with organization want to try and put something together?
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
I just say we pick a mall parking lot or restaurant with a big lot and meet there at a specific date and time. That's what my Impala folks usually did.

Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
Just throwing this out, but North Point Mall in Alpharetta has a big parking lot, and there are plenty of restaurants around there. Of course this is easy for the North Atlanta folks, but anyone is welcome. If we pick a date, and I say I'll attend, the only thing that would keep me away is a family emergency. I drop up to a meet from Virginia to New Jersey, and only one other person showed it because there was a chance of rain.
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
I would be down for a meet as well. Last one i went to was earlier this year
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
Anyone have any 97-03 OEM five star (either style) rims? Looking for a set at a good price that I can just drive and pick them up. I don't mind a 2 hour ride to get them. I live in Columbus.
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
So is this meet gonna happen hahaha i could use some race friends!!
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
I don't have my GP any more, and my Impala looks like $#!t, but if someone names a place, I'll show.

Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
Still have my old and busted Impala that I hope to let my son drive next year when he gets his license. jmak and Mithril, you guys are closer to each other than I am to either one of you, so pick a place and I'll do my best to show. I'll even get my car washed. :th_laugh-lol3:
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
Cool. That would be great. I'm hoping to find a good tuner in the future and right now I'm looking for a good place to have my compustar remote start system looked at. It's misbehaving. What's a good time for y'all? Maybe someplace around Cumberland?
Re: GPs In the Atlanta area
Weekends of course, any time. Prefer lunch. Especially since then it's easier to look at everyone's ride. Plenty of food choices at Cumberland Mall, or around there as well.
