Yeah I tried out a few different exhausts, finally settled on 3" all the way no cat, no res and a single flowmaster 40. Sounded the best by far, is not excessively loud just enough to know it's there, and no drone just a hint of rasp when coming down from 4500+ rpm

Not all magnaflows are chambered . I know mine aren't at least . I like the sound of my car. Headers no cat to a 32 in glass pack into some magnaflows .keeps the inside of the car quiet while still notable on throttle

    Magnaflow's are still loud~ish.

And they drone, it's a common deal.

    The woman's G5 GT with a Maggy catback is a droney b1tch.

Same with my old man's 3.7 V6 Stangbanger. I've heard plenty of maggy cars, and while quiet, the exhaust note is still meh.

My first mod was the resonator delete and I thought it sounded "tougher".
It will not sound like a V-8 if you install an upgrade system. But there are some people that consider V-8's sound obnoxious too
I ended up with a SLP loudmouth cat-back,nice rumble that disappears when your on the gas.
That drone thing never bothered me or anyone, so what the hell ever!

When you get the borlas on throw up some videos. I'd like to hear more videos of borlas.

My Flowmasters do not drone at all..

I think they sound okay till about 3k, then the poo starts, however they are not loud enough for you to hear tehhh ugly, since my FWI noise is louder than the exhaust at those RPM's.

If you still have a converter and resonator, most any muffler isn't going to be that loud.

Even though I had no rasp on my flowmasters, they still droned. Bad.

It's all about noise tolerance. Some have it, others want to rip their nose hairs out.

Yup yup! Still have both cat and res. There is no rasp in mine either, they may have a TINY bit of drone on the highway, but honestly it's not that much more audible over the normal road noise. Personally I like it. Maybe Bonne's take to exhaust mods differently. A friends 02 GP sounded a little different when he replaced the mufflers with 44's just like mine.

Probably because there is more sound deadening in an H-Body than a W-Body?

    Who knows.
