If you have an Iphone, plx makes a wifi version of the unit which is more $, then you can pay $50 to apple for app--its not android torque open source & $5), but a similar set up. Personally, I dont give apple my $.
I have never used Aeroforce, so can't compare. I bought cheap ebay $20 bt adapter, did NOT work w/ my 03 GTP. Then bought plx kiwi, the on/off switch is worth the $.
W/ Android torque w/ plx kiwi, the refresh rates are programmable, but are limited to capacity of phone, bt technology, etc. again, I can't compare to other devices.
An advantage to android torque is ability to +/- displays, scan multiple things "simotaneously", mix & match what you want is supper easy. Disad. is more things you scan, slower ability to refresh.
My biggest complaint w/ android torque is; device must be connected in order to configure displays--ie it would be nice to be able to set up displays anytime not just when in car. Second complaint--it does NOT read my ABS codes.
Android torque has some quirks, but it is being improved and it has been very helpful for me, even trouble shooting misfires and resetting dtc.
If someone has a specific function they are looking for, post it & I'll see if my setup can do it.
