    Acrylic Plexiglass Frosted sheet 1/4" - 12" x 18" | eBay

Would this work for me to mount my gauges on? i would paint it all except for the spots where i would tint the dummy lights

1/4 inch is kinda thick. i'd shoot for 1/8" it will be easier to cut and work with.

its going over the 1/8 inch aluminum plate, then the gauges can hold it all in place. they get clamped in from behind.

i love this idea! and i might do it in the far future. for now i got rid of my DIC, used the zzp auto trac off thing and have my dual aeroforce and wb there. it was done by someone else and they used pcv pipe for the holes and some body filler. im eventually going to redo it with one of those gauge pods from jegs and fiberglass. this pic is berfore i installed the wb and had a triple aeroforce. and yes thats a double din screen.

then the 1/4 inch would work i guess.

trust, me your first run out of the box will be version 1.0 and so on. i'd be working with thick card board as a template first, like, love it, copy it. that way you can make it this way then that way till you find a way you like.

A friend of mine did. I bought it off him when he decided not to use it. I had it for like a week and ended up converting my DIC to blue so i sold this dash a few years back to Swiggles.

I sold it to him with the HVAC trim still in tact. I believe he modified it for his Double Din.

yes i modified for the double din. and the vac leak is fix now nixon the aeroforce displays mpg so i had no need for the dic, my original dic was analog anyways.

the hvac is moved all the way down and is basically sitting on top of the ashtray. i had to sand down the bottom bar for the knobs to able to turn and used a pencil and bondo for the bar above the hvac. when i redo the gauge pod part im going to redo the stereo part at the same time and all will be done with fiberglass. heres the photobucket i used as a writeup, mine didnt come out as nice though. Project Double Din pictures by jcstahl1 - Photobucket

boost do you want it back? i have a couple more dash pieces i could use for the redo and give you back this one.

I know this is page ago now , but.. I don't know how you guys don't have the oil pressure sensor.

On my car, on my 95 bonneville, our 02 GP GT, and any other Series 2 I have seen, there's one in the lower end of the timing cover next to the oil filter extension on ALL 95+ 3800 S2's.

That GP, like all GP's, has an oil pressure switch.

Goes off somewhere around 10 PSI or less.

Its more of a "oh look your engine is shot" light.
