IIRC you want at lest 15* of timing

I went out to day and got 12* timing with zero knock (I think it hit 5* for a second but I wasnt logging so I'm not positive), which I was excited about.

    You hit 12* WOT in a 04+? That's pretty craptastic -- My 04 bone stock hit 16-17* after 3-4* KR -- 19-21* commanded.

Eh, if you're running smaller than stock pulley if you get at the very least 14* before KR you're fine, 16*+ is ideal.

But i'd run a 14+* setup any day of the week.

14* is better than the average 10-11* a 97-03 will exhibit in stock form.

At what point are u getting this timing? I was getting higher it just went down that low for a second. I thought you wanted lower timing. I just started getting into the timing and other internals. I'll log a run and post it

Higher timing > Higher Boost on an M90 car.

    All the time, everytime.

    Especially up top.

Maybe this will put everyones arguments to rest. Heres a video of me racing a friend at the track 1 week ago. He drives a 2008 50TH Anniversary LS4 V8 Impala SS. Im intercooled running a 3.0 pulley w/ headers

Something isn't right here. Your car should definitely be making more power than a LS4.
