I liked the hood more before it was on the car. On the car I feel it doesn't match as well, BUT I still think it's a damn sexy hood, and a damn good job,

The hood cost me almost nothing. I agree though about the SLP spoiler and roof rails. Maybe in the future. I'm not sure whether the hood is closed. I don't know how much of the gap is because the hood isn't or is closed or the fact that I hit a deer with it in November. I still haven't seen it in person to know.

I finally got to see the hood on the car for the first time. It looks AWESOME. Here's my favorite view:

This things just looks awesome from every angle. My dad did some kick ass work on it. I also took a picture of the black in it. It has some heavy metallic and just "pops." The picture didn't turn out quite like I had hoped, but you can tell how the weather was yesterday:

It'll be nice when it's done. Thinking about some black Bullitts with polished lips now...

Looks really good, just out of place. Maybe get some black rims, tint the windows and paint the lower rear and front facias black.

Edit: orginally looked at this from my phone, looks 100x better on my computer.

I did not like it until I saw the outside picture. I am now a fan! I think some black roof rails would be spot on. Help tie in the black.... Your father is a true artist!

Roof rails cost money. LOL I would love to though if I could find a set cheap after I get done buying the rest of the stuff I still need. I'm not a fan of window tint so that won't be happening, but I'm seriously thinking about the black fascias. I'll see what happens as it gets closer to being done.

Also, the car is still being worked on, so that will help tie in the rest as it becomes more complete.

A little too angular for my tastes, but props for doing something different.

Not a fan of window tint? i thought that would be impossible. If it were my car, the front and back Fascias need to be painted black, black rims, WINDOW TINT (Maybe dont go real dark? Just a little tint at least), Black Roof Rails, black headlight housings, and tinted tail lights. Boom, now you have a real good looking car.

That hood is damn sexy, but i'm agreeing with the above..... I might have to fab something like that up for my silver g-p, but i have a slight twist for it (agree with the looks too angular post)

other than that, looks good man

Ok ok...I get it...black fascias. LOL I'm still not sure the direction the rest of the build is headed, but if anyone wants to photoshop some black fascias onto the pic, feel free. I have no photoshop skills and I can't picture them black, so I'm not sure how it'd look. I do know my dad has a plan to put more black somewhere in the paint scheme. As far as window tint, I feel it becomes more of a hassle as time goes on. I've had many cars with aftermarket tint and just never liked the way it laid on the glass; especially the rear window. Maybe if I can find someone who does a good job nearby, I'll think about it. Black roof rails would look sick, but for the price, I just can't afford to go that route right now, unless someone would like to donate some. I think the black Bullitts with polished lips would help and I think I have a set I can grab and redo fairly easily except someone painted them so it's going to take some effort.

Yeah, I had a 1992 Lumina that I stripped of all its belongings. Pedals are currently fabbed and in. Still need to wire the clutch pedal position switches, but that won't be done until after I mount the clutch master cylinder so I make sure there's nothing in my way. Otherwise, I picked up a oil filter housing off a 1990 Regal with the 3.8 and now it's just pull out the engine and trans, mount a few more little things, fab a bracket for the P/S axle, get the new clutch or run the stocker (which is new) until it explodes, then put it back in.
