Finally got it all put back together and running. Started rough and stalled a few times but then stayed running and smoothed out. Initial idle speed was 1400 then slowed to 900. Let it idle for 15 minutes then rev to 2500. Had snappy throttle no stumbles smooth idle. I recorded no KR up to 2500 rpm didnt rev higher. Boost is running... -14 at idle to around "0" at the 2500 rpm. Now obviously its time to tune this engine. Total newb here so Im looking for help if any of you are willing. I have HPTuner pro and have just started reading up on it. Any pointers will be welcomed.

I have a 2002 SSEi L67. XP cam, Ported LIM, heads and SC with 3.2 pulley. Heads also worked to except .650 lift 105 springs stock valves and NGK TR55s. Took out the "maf sensor bump" in the TB. Thrasher CAI. Speed Daddy headers and spun cat.

Looking to learn all I can to tune.

Is the low boost due to the "extra air" im getting now? I figured Id get less boost with the mods but the smaller pulley would equal it out some. Was shocked at the boost being that low.

    What boost?

I dont see any boost figures in here.

Boost should at least be recorded at 4000 RPM in second and just before shift point in second gear.

I realise that IM not giving true boost figures. I just found the readings at idle and up to 2500 rpm to be so much lower then the stock readings. Before the mods the boost gauge would read at "0" and rise from there. Now the gauge reads -14 at idle much lower. I havent driven the car yet. I wanted to baby it , let it idle to make sure alls well. I spent the last 4 months building this in my spare time. Dont want to do any thing stupid at this point. Also dont want to drive it hard until I know how the fuel trims are? Am I correct in thinking this?

Car won't make boost in park, computer will command bypass valve open. The -14 sounds like vacuum. The computer also will not let you rev up to redline in park, max is something like 3000. You have to take for a drive for good boost numbers.

Im learning as I go. What can I say. But Im having fun and didnt blow any sh*t up yet either. My main thoughts on this whole boost thing was the drastic difference in what the boost gage was reading and what its reading now.
