Your car is a 2004, but you didn't mention the mileage. Obviously cars with higher mileage have more problems, but GPs do have a great track record, so this can be just a coincidence. If this is the only problem you have had, it's not bad. Before you change the hubs, have the car scanned, this can save you time and money and others mentioned, it can be a broken wire (has happened to me before). Also, how much did you pay for the car and did you get it privately, or through a dealer?
Is the ABS light on when you start the car or does it come on when you move.
