Ok so the other day my car threw a P0171 running lean bank 1. Car seemed to be running fine so I deleted it with my aeroforce thinking if it was running lean constantly it would come back right away, well it didnt until today (a couple days later). Ive been meaning to get a tune but I was waiting on a couple more parts so I didnt waste money on 2 tunes. Any ideas what it could be? Been told it could be the o2 sensor upfront, bad injector(s), fuel pump going bad, fuel filter clogged, or my car needs a tune with my mods to get more fuel. Well if you take a look at w body store headers the front o2 sensor only reads the front three cylinders so if it was the pump or filter it would happen to all the cylinders right? Just trying to figure out what it could be. I dont want to destroy my engine.

Could be that ported TB... That will mess with maf readings and might make it run lean. And you already checked good for vac leaks before posting this right?

no vacuum leaks have an exhaust leak where the egr meets the rear header connection, was waiting to put a couple more parts on to tune it and i was going to delete the egr when i got tuned but i guess ill have to do it sooner than expected. The codes just started happening, ive had that ported throttle body on for almost a year and a half so im pretty sure thats not it.

wouldnt my boost gauge show me if i had a leak? vacuum pressure shows normal (about between 20-22) and boost is between 7-8lbs.
Ive got one person telling me its because i need a tune because of my mods and one telling me because of a vacuum leak?

EGR tube , they crack where they go in manifold.

Make sure throttle body screen is in and clean.

egr tube isnt cracked but the connection to the rear header didnt get a good enough seal because i couldnt get my big ass hands back there to tighten it down all the way, just gonna delete the stupid thing when i get a tune. screen is in and clean just replaced the throttle body gasket two weeks ago so i checked the screen not too long ago. Pcv o ring is fine. if i had a vacuum leak wouldnt my gauge show it? not talking about the stock one in the cluster i have one from autometer

Only way to tell on the egr tube is to remove that end and shine a light in it. They develop a crack around the flared end, very small
    but will trip an p0171
