Yep go with a stock reman, cheaper and more reliable than most of the aftermarket converters and will already stall close to 3K rpm depending on your mod list. You shouldnt have a problem with axles as long as they are in good shape and the boots arent leaking grease. The flexplate should interchange just fine from an L32 to an L67. I have made a habit to always get new flexplate to crankshaft bolts and put blue loctite on them. The bolts are torque to yield and are very soft and will stretch pretty easy and the last think you want is a bolt backing out!
