Alright I just got a Grand Prix year 2000. I got a AM radio that I have put in but it will not turn on, I have checked the wires 3 times they are ALL hooked up right. I have tried 3 different radios and non of them work. I talked to a few friends and they said it might be locked up and idk what that means. If you guys can help me out with this I need to get this radio working asap

Since its aftermarket it wont be locked. First things first, did you check your radio fuse in the glove box?

Telling us the brand/model of radio you are trying to use would help...

Do you have a DMM? If so, test for voltage on the red and yellow wire. And continuity test the ground.
