Right now i have a XM radio in my 2000 bu everytime a friend gets in my passenger seat he hits my radio. Just wondering if a radio out of a 04+ would fit. Thanks

I dont see how the O4+ HU's would fit into an pre 04+ GP, the bracket styles are different from what I recall. And when you say your passanger hits the radio, what do you mean? Do you have Satelite control attached on the passanger side where he hits it or what?
I also doubt the 04+ HUs have any more RMS output than pre 04+ HUs.

I have a bracket attached to the right side of my head unit and my xm radio is on the bracket. I have some tall friends and thier knees hit it

no it wont work. the electronics are different.

You should move it to the dash/cubby hole in the center console if it fits in there or move it up to the left hand lower corner of the dash near the window.Originally Posted by isucyclones3
