    check the wire and plunger under the dash by the arm ? it might be stuck down

    does the grand prix brake light say e brake or just brake like my regal? if so you could just need brake fluid. maybe check the master cylinder fluid level.

    The BRAKE light in the dash isn't just to tell you the ebrake is on, its to tell you the fluid is low

    Check the fluid level, sensor on the side of the MC res is plugged in and that the pedal is all the way up on the ebrake.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
