if ur sub is mounted cone facing out leave phae shift at 0. if ur inverting ur sub and the magnet is facing out then switch it to 180. this is so the sub will hit at the appropriate time

Just put it on whatever is louder at the listening position aka the drivers seat.

Also, inverting the sub is stupid and just exposes the motor to dirt and debris which could destroy it.
