Welcome back. You missed a few excitements, but nothing earth-shattering.
ah man i thought we got rid of you for good.....hey welcome back. hey i have fish too. i'm more into chiclids fish i need to add some excitement in my tank can you hook me up. i have about 10 chiclids in my 65 gallon right now. looking to get rid of some and adding new species.
the only cichlids I have right now are marble barred angels. a true breeding pair. Once babies are ready they will be about 2 bucks a fish maybe 1.50 depending on coloration and size at 5weeks of age.
If you want some of the angels( south american cichlid) they will be ready by thanksgiving at the latest, they will all be fed frozen or live food( baby guppies make great baby predator food.)
I am getting ready to set up an african rift tank for some electric blues and some labidochromis unless I find a few oddities.
marble barred angel is that like angel fish or some sort? any pic? i think my cichlids will kill him. here's what i have in the tank so far:
electric blue
yellow labidochromis
4 fontosa
green terrora
angelatic catfish
peacock
nibochromis livingstoni
2 stripe cichids i have no idea what it's call
i'm looking for bottom feeder like some cool catfish type or colorful cichlids
Pics? I love stuff like that. I used to have a friend whose rich ass parents would drop like 200 on some new exotic fish for their tank ever couple weeks, that tank was so much fun to stare at lol. Idr what it was called but for awhile they had something that looked like a comically oversized goldfish. And they had a pufferfish, many others.
i'll get pics later. i think my most expensive fish in the tank are my fontosa. i have one huge one and 3 little one. the 3 small one probably worth $25 each and the big one probably $75-$100. the rest of the fish are under $20. when you buy them small they are cheaper. i have mine when they were a baby. now they are pretty good size. these are tropical fish btw. your buddy probably have the salt water fish, those are more $$$$ plus it's it takes more work to maintain the tank too. i used to have boa constrictor before i got into fish. was kind of cool feeding them rat and sometime rabbit. i had 2 argentina boa over 6 feet long. when they got bigger their food got more expensive that's why i got into fish plus it's cool watching them swim around and chasing each other![]()
