Well I am going to replace the LIM gaskets regardless since it will need to be done at some point. I will check the supercharger when I take it apart. Thanks guys

What color should the S/C oil be? Will there be pressure inside the snout that will be released when I remove the allen key screw?

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

there will be no pressure when you open the SC up to check the oil. It will smell horrible. It should be filled to the bottom of the screw that you remove and should look to be like a tea color if all is good. If it is a lot darker, you should probably change it out.

I thought that there was supposed to be a pinhole breather somewhere on the SC. I am not positive about this though....maybe yours is just plugged.

Yes there is a breather on the supercharger. It is incorporated into the pulley bolt. The center of the bolt has a porus piece of brass in the center of the bolt. If the breather is plugged up you probably need a new bolt. I dont know you may be able to soak the bolt in carb cleaner and maybe it will unclog the pores.

Okay well the smoke is definetly blue. I think Ill start off with a leakdown and/or compression test then go from there. Then if that goes good, ill buy a rebuilt supercharger from ZZP

if there was pressure in there then sumthings wrong ....change the bolt they r cheap...when you rev it it might be building even more pressure inside, but just everso slightly at idle. the sc oil is seeping past the worn rotor/gear seals and just getting all over the rotors and sitting in the lim..when you rev it it creates a pretty powerful vacume sucking whats laying in the lim down through and burning it..it wont do it back to back (revs) because its just seeping and there isnt enough laying in the lim to get sucked down into the combustion chamber to be burnt, well maybe just not enough to be seen in the form of smoke..thats just what mine was doing ,or should i say thats my theory on what was happening...

I would also change the bolt and see what happens...
