Spraying through a blower does not take off the rotor coating. I've literally sprayed through the same gen 3 m90 for the better part of a decade with any kind of fuel you can imagine, and my rotor coating still looked great.

Maybe you torqued the blower down wrong and knocked the coating off.

I installed a wet kit at 65k, unmolested motor, and 3 yrs later at 80k when I installed a bigger TB and LIM gaskets I noticed the front part of the coating on the rotors had worn off. Perhaps you don't know what worn off costing looks like? It's a common issue with spraying the M90. I'm not the only one that this has happened to. I also went turbo 😂

Worn coating looks the same from torquing down an m90 wrong, or just a bad coating from the factory.

Perhaps you don't know what a good coating looks like???

I wasn't trying to be rude, I'm sorry if I came across that way. I know my ****, and obviously you do too. Just saying that the black coating was worn off on the front of the rotors and it was streaking and wearing down to the middle. Plenty of ppl have had this happen to them too. Figured I'd give a friendly heads up on someone wanting to run nitrous on their M90, that's all.

Special thanks to GTPChristopher for giving me a really amazing deal on a bunch of accessories for my nitrous build. I got most of my hard lines installed today, now all I have to do is electrical.

Yup! It took a while because I basically had to buy new everything since the "kit" I bought was complete cr*p. Now I got a bottle warmer, purge solenoid, a tb spacer and some other goodies, so it was worth the wait.

if I get nitrous, I'll learn from your experience and just buy a new kit. it might cost more, but not having the hassle will be worth it in my eyes. maybe I'll be able to get a good used kit that won't need any help though.

Ya well it was definitely part my fault for not doing enough research and really learning what all was involved but I have currently spent about 600$ now just for the system parts not including the accessories. So I could have bought a brand new kit for cheaper which is what I should have done but to be fair I technically do have a brand new system now since I bought all new parts. I also have a second bottle which is nice.

Does anyone know of a good place to mount the wot switch. I don't really see a way unless I custom make some kind of bracket.

Well I can definitely get it on the dyno. Hopefully sometime this month. I've never gotten it dynoed so I think that would be awesome to do after all cr*p ton of work I've put in to the car.

I havent been to the track either and I really want to do that but I haven't yet because I am scared if I put sticky tires on the car and do some passes all out my stock transmission will go kabloom. So in trying to get a transmission and I also have a massive power steering leak which I'm sure they don't allow your car to be leaking fluid all over the track. So I'm going to be swapping out my rack and pinion hopefully in the next week or two.

Hey guys I'm having some frustrations. I'm currently running a 65 shot and most of the time the car doesn't seem any faster. I know the system is working because I can hear the engine tone change slightly and my afr will change. Shouldn't a 65 shot be pretty noticeable?

Yes. What's your afr doing? And what's your bottle pressure?

Afr is obviously dependent on bottle pressure but if my pressure is around 850 ill get a 9.9-10.5 afr and if pressure is around 1100 ill get a 10.5-11.5 afr. My bottle pressure is at 1100 when its parked in the sun and at night its usually around 850 because my warmer seems to have issues and cycles on and off constantly.

Get your bottle pressure up to 950. You also need to lean it out more. Your afr should be 11.5 or leaner.
